Terri Harvill delivered her first public message to over 1,000 people at the age of 14. She is passionate about motivating others to live and thrive in authentic spaces. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Talladega College, where she was Ms. Talladega College 1994-95. She received her Master’s Degree from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts.

She has served her community through a career at the YMCA of Greater Birmingham since 1991, where she has held positions from Summer Day Camp Counselor to District Vice President. She has received several local and national honors and awards, including Birmingham Best in Minority Business Award, U.S. Army Award of Excellence and Inaugural City of Birmingham’s Civil Rights Humanitarian Award. She is a leader in the community and has served as a liaison for many community partnerships and collaborations.

She is a licensed realtor and co-owner of Positive Development, LLC. and Positive Plumbing and Gas alongside her husband. Positive Development is one of the newest franchise owners of Golden Rule BBQ, in Birmingham Alabama. She is President/CEO of Positive Motivation, LLC . She was licensed as a minister of the gospel in the ministry of the Mount Zion Full Gospel Baptist Church in Birmingham Al. under the leadership of Senior Pastor, Overseer Awalski M. Moore in 2005 where she served as the Pastor of Business Affairs for the ministry. She is currently an active part of the Church of the Highlands ministry in Birmingham, Alabama under the leadership of Senior Pastor Chris Hodges and West Campus Pastor, Mayo Sowell. She is passionate about helping people and serving those who have been written off by society. Her motto is ……But God!

 She serves on several boards including Eastside Mental Health Center, Hands @ Play, Heart Gallery and the Jefferson County Children’s Policy Council. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She does motivational speaking and seminars  nationally and internationally for spiritual and secular organizations and forums. She is the wife of Omar Harvill Sr., is second mother ( Mama T) to Omar Jr., Kolby, and Noah Harvill, and Katie Lewis and mother of princess Kerrin Leia’Nicholle Harvill.
